The soft material moulds itself to the horse's back and at impact it temporarily forms a flexible protective shield against shocks. The 9mm thickness provides maximum muscle protection for the horse while minimizing the shock felt by the rider, it gives relief to the back and a more secure seat.
XRD gives your horse the freedom to use the technique to protect. Our inlays are perforated for extra breathability and treated with Microban® antibacterial protection.
Note: Our inserts have changed; they now have more surface area with a different hole pattern to provide greater impact protection and still breathe!
